Leading the dynamic On-site Chiropractic Team at Connect Chiropractic is the accomplished Dr. Elizabeth Romar-Chavis, fondly known by her patients and peers as Dr. Liz. With over a decade of experience under her belt, Dr. Chavis has dedicated her professional life to providing gentle, specific, and conservative chiropractic care to a broad spectrum of individuals across Louisiana.
Her journey began with an honored completion of the Biology Pre-Med program, obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Xavier University of Louisiana. Her thirst for knowledge then led her to the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine – Georgia Campus, where she completed a Post-baccalaureate program in Biomedical Sciences. But it was at Life University’s College of Chiropractic that Dr. Chavis found her true calling. She recounts, “I am constantly in awe of the body’s innate capability to heal without relying on drugs or surgical interventions, once interference to the nervous system is removed through chiropractic adjustments. It’s a profound privilege to assist countless individuals in leading healthier, more fulfilled lives.”
Licensed by both the Georgia and Louisiana Boards of Chiropractic Examiners, Dr. Chavis’ extensive career has seen her extend her healing touch to diverse groups - from families, athletes, and wellness patients to expectant mothers and accident victims. Notably, Dr. Chavis has excelled in deploying the Webster Technique to alleviate intrauterine constraint in pregnant women, promoting optimal fetal positioning.
But what truly anchors Dr. Chavis is a deep-rooted empathy for those who, despite needing chiropractic intervention, are deterred by time or financial barriers. Witnessing the transformative power of chiropractic care, it’s her mission to dismantle these barriers and make chiropractic healing universally accessible.
